Subtitle

People First 1 of North Carolina is a network of local self-advocacy organizations for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

We are working:

     * to bring together local self-advocacy groups across the state,

     * to share knowledge

     * to become stronger self-advocates

We need YOU to join us, by linking your local group with the statewide network.

Self-advocates are people with disabilities who speak up for themselves and others

Self-advocates know their rights and make their voices heard in their communities.

People First 1 of North Carolina is now a 501c3 non-profit organization!
